The article i am doing is about how Canada passes a law to protect whistleblowers and journalists this law means that all whistleblowers and journalists are going to get the protection that they are in need of and can now publish articles and can be protected by the goverment as well.
I think that this new law is great for all journalists and whistleblowers and
1) Hockey tournament- hockey has a tournament known as the playoffs. its a best of seven series against a certain that has acquired a spot into the playoffs after the team who won the best of seven series they keep going until they meet with the team of the opposite conference. whoever wins the best of seven series in that match wins a trophy known as the Stanley cup. An example is when in the 2010 playoffs when Montreal and Philadelphia was playing in the conference finals with Montreal on fire by eliminating Washington and Pittsburgh from the playoffs i thought they would beat the flyers no problem but they lost the best of seven series and the flyers went on to the Stanley cup finals and lost against Chicago.
2) Basketball tournament- Basketball playoffs are the same as the NHL playoffs the both are a best of seven series and at the end of the playoff the winner of each conference will face off against each other.
3) Baseball tournament- As of 2012, the playoff for each league american and national consist of a one game wild card playoff between two wild card teams, Two best of five division series featuring the wild card champion and the and the winner of each division, then the best of seven champion series the whoever wins that wins the commissioners trophy.by Morgan

In this essay i will be discussing about the movie "miracle" some keys points i will be discussing in this essay are 3 characteristics and examples from the movie to back up my points, also we are to make comparisons to other leaders in the movie. I hope you enjoy.
This movie was based on the tournament know as miracle on ice where the united states defeated the soviet union 4-3 they call it miracle on ice because everyone thought that the soviet union was impossible to beat but the Americans pulled it off. The Movie is based on the coach of the Americans Herb Brooks as he guides the team to victory.
I think this movie shows a lot of leadership by the coach and also the players. I think the coach showed most of the leadership in the movie because he put his job before his family and made sure that he was gonna have a good team by working out conflicts between other teammates and also it shows that he is the glue that holds this team together buy say that if he can get the team to hate him then they will all have to someone to hate besides the other teammates.
In the movie a part in the movie that i thought was very powerful was when he kept making the players skate back and forth line to line it showed how the coach was trying to make them mad at him and it showed how dedicated these players were to the team as well but at the moment when almost everyone was on there knees coughing i thought at least a couple were gonna back out then .
Another favorite from that movie was when Herb got into a fight with his wife because he was gonna start putting hockey over his family. It shows how dedicated Herb is to his team and how much time and effort he is willing to put in to win the golden medal.
Also i think that in many ways the captain of the USA team Mike Eruzione would've had to shown lots of leadership as he lead his team out on to the ice against the undefeated soviet union. This movie is going to help us a lot and has shown me what being a true leader is like how you have to do whats right for your team and make sure that you have given your hardest to get what you want for you and your team.

Residents of fortycreekville were very surprised to see there local bank burnt to the ground. one resident said that he lost all his money due to the fire.
The fire was caused by a near by fire that caught on to the trees and reached to the bank and burned it down. they were all upset to hear that they lost their bank that as standing for over 100 years. they said a new bank will not be built fr another two years due to lack of money from the village. over fifty people lost their job at the bank and most have now moved out of the village in search for another job.
The people who have been known to cause the fire are being sued by multiple people and is receiving a lot of h8 from the town and most likely wont be in the village for to long.

in my first news article i will be talking about the Edmonton terrorist attack. The terrorist was a member of a terrorist group from Somali community organization. The attack took place in Edmonton. the attack was only done by one person the police suspect and took the life of a police officer. i thought this quote was a really good “That the events of last night don’t define who we are as Edmontonians, but it will be events like this and our response to the message of hate that will tell the world who we really are,” Inspector Trent Forsberg of the Edmonton Police Service told the gathering, adding: “I don’t think that, as Edmontonians, we are prepared to go quietly into the night". i felt like the important information was spread out through this article and could've been a bit more interesting. roughly 327 years ago benjamin harris created the first newspaper and it was really hard to get your hands on a newspaper compared to today newspapers are everywhere you can find them at any corner and all over the streets when hardly anyone uses them anymore.
I think the government should not have that kind of control of the people like they did back then because it can make people unhappy and could cause lots of problems.
I think newspapers still get published because it makes the government money if newspapers didn't make money for the government then newspapers would have been gone a long time ago. Also i think the government doesn't want to get rid of newspapers because of how cheap they would be to make compared to other forms of news such as live at 5.
Yes i am surprised that the first newspaper was made in halifax because of how noisy the usa is it seems that they would love to hear all the useless stuff happening in the world
